A villa
in the countryside

This project is situated in the open countryside on the edge of the Monferrato region. It involves the demolition of an old farmhouse, which had fallen into a state of irreparable disrepair, and the construction of a new detached house.
The villa stands on a very distinctive plot, which is very narrow and long, running alongside a country road.
The unique nature of the plot dictated the decision to create a more enclosed space facing the road and an open one facing the open countryside.
The image above shows the main façade, characterised by the deep entrance portico and the extension of the living area. The distinctive feature of this design is that this portico is inverted on the upper floor, adding interest to the façade and creating an interplay of volumes.
